7. The Girl who became the Hero​

​

Before she became herself, she became a protector.

​

A child standing between her mother and the world,

Her mother spoke of disappointments.

 

And the little girl, with her heart too big  

stepped into the space where comfort should have been.

 

She held her mother’s sadness as if it were her own.

She believed she could be the strength her mother lacked.

She became the hero, the rescuer, the one who must never leave.

 

This role shaped her:

 

If someone was hurting - she stayed.
If someone felt small - she lifted them.
If someone played the victim - she carried them.

 

But heroes grow tired.

 

And the child who swore never to leave others was the same child who was terrified of being left.
